Dublin Arts Council Hosts New Exhibit

The Dublin Art Council (DAC) boasts an internationally recognized art program, Art in Public Places, but there is a lot more to the DAC than the “Field of Corn” for which we are all so familiar. The DAC hosts workshops, seminars, camps for kids, a visual arts series and more. Currently, at its gallery on Riverside Drive, the DAC is showcasing a unique photography exhibit. Making its U.S. debut here in the city of Dublin, “Shifting Perspectives” is a moving series of photos taken over a nine year period in the U.K. that depicts life for people of all ages living with Down Syndrome. The exhibit is both provoking and beautiful and on display until November 4. More information on this exhibit and all the DAC has to offer is available here.
